Please read below to see whether you or your child is qualified for this program. If you live within the Vienna town limits, Dr. Varkiani can come to you!
Pay for candidates is between $100 to $150 and requires approximately 2-hour time commitment. Let us know if you are interested.
Candidate groups needed:
Typically developing: Ages 16–90
Clinical groups
Mild or moderate intellectual disability (ID): Ages 16–64
Attention-deficit/
hyperactivity disorder (ADHD): Ages 16–35 Specific learning disorder in reading or math: Ages 16–25
Autism spectrum disorder with language impairment: Ages 16–35
Mild Cognitive Impairment: Ages 60–90
To be included, candidates must:
Speak English as their primary language (the language most often spoken)
Have normal vision and hearing or examinee uses corrective aids (e.g., glasses, hearing aids, etc.)
Have normal fine motor and gross motor ability
Have use of fingers, hands, and arms sufficient enough to manipulate a stylus and interact with an iPad
Be able to understand subtest instructions and participate fully in testing (Fraternal twins are allowed to participate)
